Listen first
Before we draw anything, we ask. How did you meet? What do you remember of the first dessert you shared? A wedding cake is not a decorative object — it is an edible portrait of two people.
The tasting
Then comes the sweetest part of the process: tasting. Sponges, creams, fillings, combinations. We note what makes them close their eyes and what leaves them cold. From that table come two or three possible paths, never a single imposed one.
The engineering no one sees
A tiered cake is also a small work of architecture. Internal structures, hidden supports and carefully planned refrigeration hold up something that looks impossible. What people admire is the beauty; what holds it together is never seen.
From sketch to flavour
Only once we understand the story do we choose flavours, heights and finishes. A discreet couple does not want gold; an exuberant one does not want minimalism. The design follows the people, never the other way around.
